Editing entities

After you create an entity, you can edit its properties and relationships. To edit an entity, go to its details page and in the input parameters section select "Edit parameters" button. This will open a modal with the entity's properties, similar to the one that you can see during the creation of the entity.

In some cases it is possible that a parameter is locked for editing - it usually means that editing the parameter would have caused some conflict or deletion of the resource. Example parameters like that are the ones that specify cloud account that is used for provisioning of the entity, but blueprint authors are able to set any parameter as creation-time only.

After you save the changes, descant.cloud will update underlying entity and the reconciliation process will update the resources.
