Providers

descant.cloud offers a Providers section in GUI to manage Crossplane providers. Providers are the main way to connect Crossplane to a cloud provider. If you need to provision resources in the cloud, you need to install the proper provider and create a connection to it.

descant.cloud offers a simple way to discover and install providers directly from the application, without the need to define and deploy YAML manifests. Just go to Providers section and click on the Add Provider button. You will see a list of available providers, and you can install them with a single click.

In Providers section can also monitor resource usage of providers pods (CPU and memory), which is handy in case of troubleshooting.
